Universities tend to resist the idea of keeping students less busy with coursework, partly because educators feel they have to take active measures to achieve something. However, student founders should be left alone to their own projects, partly because they will be more excited to work on a project that's entirely their own, and because many projects wouldn't survive official recognition.
