A company based in Massachusetts has developed a technique to edit pigs' genomes so that their organs can be transplanted into other species. Trial results for Eli Lilly's latest Alzheimer's treatment shows that the drug significantly slows down memory loss and cognitive decline. Donanemab slowed progression by about 35 percent in the early stages of the disease. Eli Lilly has submitted the drug for FDA approval.
