Google donates Agent Substrate and gVisor to CNCF

Google Cloud has announced the donation of Agent Substrate and gVisor to the Cloud Native Computing Foundation in Sandbox status at KubeCon North America. Agent Substrate is designed as a new Kubernetes-based orchestrator for agentic applications, addressing idle resource waste and control plane overload by decoupling stateful actors from warm worker pools.
