Developers from the former Maluuba at Microsoft Research Canada have built SKY-001, an engineering world model designed for autonomous manufacturing and CAD tasks. The system uses a four-stage visual pipeline featuring parallel simulations and 7-level recursive diffusion decomposition to convert 2D sketches into 3D latent actions.
