Microsoft Entra ID launches Entra Agent ID identity chain

Microsoft Entra ID introduces Entra Agent ID, a three-layer identity model designed to manage authentication, authorization, and auditability for autonomous AI agents. The architecture separates agent identity into an Agent Identity Blueprint, a Blueprint Principal, and individual per-instance Agent Identities, keeping secrets secured on the blueprint rather than on runtime agent instances.
