Meta introduces F3 Lightning for ads ML features

Meta introduced F3 Lightning, an infrastructure layer built on top of its Facebook Feature Framework to decouple feature releases from shared execution for ads ranking models. By implementing stable computation identifiers, a single shared execution plan, a shared memory buffer, and dense index mapping, the system allows individual machine learning features to be compiled, validated, and deployed independently ~3.6x faster without increasing infrastructure compute costs.
