HiSilicon introduces 50MP CS5250 CMOS sensor

Huawei's HiSilicon has introduced its first self-developed CMOS image sensor, the 50-megapixel CS5250. TechInsights confirmed the sensor inside the Xiaotu S7 PRO MAX action camera, which was developed alongside imaging solution provider Gkuvision. Preliminary analysis reveals the sensor features a stacked back-illuminated construction, a 1.20 micromimeter pixel pitch, and a quad Bayer color filter array. Open article →
