Musk: Tesla Will Rent Optimus Robots Instead of Selling Them

During an investment conference interview, Elon Musk stated that Tesla will likely rent its Optimus humanoid robots to customers rather than sell them. Musk indicated that production costs are expected to start around $30,000 and eventually drop toward $20,000 per unit.
