SurrealDB has announced the general availability of SurrealDB 4, a major update featuring a rebuilt query core, native PostgreSQL and MySQL wire protocol support, and advanced agent memory capabilities. Alongside the database engine, the company introduced SurrealDB Earth for serverless deployments on Cloudflare and SurrealDS for distributed storage on object-backed infrastructure.
