Intel 14A moves closer to production as PDK 0.9 becomes available — Process Design Kit gives developers 'important' production milestone ahead of 1.0 in 2027

Intel Foundry has made available its Intel 14A process design kit (PDK) version 0.9, providing developers with an important pre-production milestone based on actual silicon validation. The company plans to release PDK 1.0 in the first quarter of 2027 to validate readiness for high-volume manufacturing, with mass production expected to begin in 2028.
