Snowflake launches Cortex Training for fine-tuning open-weight LLMs

Snowflake has announced the public preview of Cortex Training, a serverless offering designed for customizing and deploying open-weight Large Language Models. The platform allows enterprise teams to perform supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning using popular frameworks while Snowflake manages the underlying GPU infrastructure and distributed execution.
