Introducing the Grid Protectors Program

OpenAI is launching the Grid Protectors Program, a national initiative designed to help future compute campuses support reliable and affordable electricity in local communities. As part of this effort, the company has reached an agreement with Georgia Power for a planned Effingham County campus that includes up to 1,000 megawatts of flexible demand response.
