Introducing AlloyDB Express for rapid testing and prototyping

Google Cloud has announced the preview of AlloyDB Express, a new PostgreSQL service designed for developers and AI coding agents. The database is capable of provisioning in under two seconds, features automatic scale-to-zero during inactivity, and embeds enterprise AI capabilities such as vector search and direct access to Gemini models.
