Altera Corporation announced the Agilex 2X FPGA portfolio, a new family of programmable logic devices designed for Digital and Physical AI systems. The first family in the lineup, Agilex 27 FPGAs, features the third-generation HyperFlex fabric, delivering a 1.8x performance-per-watt improvement and supporting 256 Gbps transceivers along with PCIe 7.0.
