Microsoft engineer releases gputaskman GPU monitoring tool

Microsoft engineer Scott Hanselman has developed a new experimental Windows utility called gputaskman, designed to provide detailed insights into GPU usage and process activity. The tool lists metrics such as VRAM consumption, temperature, power draw, and PCIe traffic on a per-process basis, with specific support for identifying local AI models and their runtimes.
