AI agent analyzes VLC MKV demuxer use-after-free

Researchers analyzed a real-world VLC Media Player exploit using an AI agent and MCP-based time-travel debugging. Given a 4.78-billion-instruction CPU trace, the agent autonomously reconstructed a use-after-free vulnerability in the MKV demuxer and traced a six-step exploitation chain leading to code execution.
