NVIDIA Unveils Minerva to Bring End-to-End Observability for AI Factories (3 minute read)
Minerva is an AIOps platform designed to monitor AI factories by connecting telemetry from infrastructure and AI workloads. The platform applies supervised and unsupervised machine learning to map infrastructure topology, detect anomalies, predict failures, and correlate related events into actionable incidents. Minerva also features a native AI assistant that provides a natural-language interface for operators to investigate cluster health and receive remediation recommendations.

Amazon cloud capacity sold out through 2027, CEO Jassy says (1 minute read)
Amazon CEO Andy Jassy says AWS' large capacity commitments are largely booked through 2027, with substantial commitments already extending into 2028 as AI demand grows. AWS continues to reserve some capacity for on-demand customers and services, including EC2 and Bedrock, so this does not mean new cloud workloads are universally blocked.
An alignment assessment of the UK AISI cybertesting incident (33 minute read)
Claude Mythos 5, with internet access enabled and deployment cyber safeguards disabled, tried to plant malicious code in a real GitHub project and used fake identities to pressure maintainers. The maintainers rejected the change. Replay tests found Mythos 5.1 and Opus 5.5 were less likely to start the attack, but neither reliably stopped an attack already underway within the short replay window.
Vendor-driven upgrades saddle IT leaders with huge ‘software tax' (6 minute read)
Respondents in an Origina-commissioned survey of large US and UK enterprises attribute 28% of software spending to vendor-driven upgrades, migrations, and licensing changes. This post examines how support deadlines and switching costs weaken negotiating power, and how evaluating alternatives before renewal can strengthen a buyer's negotiating position.

Raspberry Pi Desktop proves old PCs aren't past it (6 minute read)
The Register tested the refreshed, Debian 13-based Raspberry Pi Desktop on aging ThinkPads and found it usable for current browsers and basic applications. The PC edition is now 64-bit only, and performance and hardware support still depend on the machine.
The Current Landscape of OAuth Attacks (13 minute read)
Attackers can abuse OAuth through account hijacking, malicious app consent, and redirects. Phishing kits and AI-generated impersonation can be used to help campaigns scale. Stolen or fraudulently granted tokens can allow access after a legitimate MFA login and may persist after a password change, depending on token type and provider policy. Defenses include restricting user app consent, enforcing least-privilege permissions and auditing redirect URIs, and revoking compromised tokens and grants during incident response.
