Sysdig says it found what it believes is the first ransomware attack run end-to-end by an AI agent. The attack exploited a Langflow RCE bug to automate discovery, credential theft, database encryption, and ransom activity.

Cloudflare says that starting September 15, its default crawler settings will block “mixed-use” bots that combine search, AI agent use, and training from pages that host ads. The change is intended to push AI companies to separate crawler purposes and give publishers more control, alongside Cloudflare evolving its monetization approach from “Pay Per Crawl” to “Pay Per Use”.
