Instacart cut average latency 50% and runs on 70% fewer nodes. Here's how (Sponsor)
Redis was designed for single-core machines. On a modern 64-core server you end up paying for compute you can't use.
Dragonfly was built with a thread-per-core, shared-nothing architecture and a new hash table design that cuts memory overhead by around 40% vs. Redis's dict.
💪 You get about 6M ops/sec on a single node, so workloads fit comfortably on 1 machine.
👀 When Instacart migrated to Dragonfly it cut latency 50% and now runs 70% fewer nodes.🤝 Dragonfly speaks the Redis and Valkey wire protocol, so your existing clients and commands work unchanged.

Kubelet watches inodes. Just not until it's an emergency (11 minute read)
Kubelet's background image garbage collection only monitors disk bytes, so workloads heavy on small files receive no early intervention before kubelet evicts pods. On one node, unpacked layers from a single-stage build containing the @mui/icons-material package consumed millions of inodes. A multi-stage Dockerfile can reduce the deployed image from more than 40,000 files to a few dozen. Adding a Prometheus alert for inode usage above 80% can catch the problem well before the 95% eviction threshold.
Beyond synthetic testing: Capturing and replaying real database workloads at Airbnb (10 minute read)
Airbnb captures production SQL traffic at ProxySQL and reconstructs transaction order and timing for controlled replay against test databases. The system supports capacity planning and upgrade comparisons, uncovering MySQL 8.0 performance regressions and queries whose results depended on unspecified row ordering.
What is Interactive Application Security Testing (IAST)? (9 minute read)
Interactive application security testing instruments running applications to find issues like SQL injection and XSS with fewer false positives. It suits QA and staging but needs runtime agents, adds overhead, and scales poorly across microservices, so mature programs pair it with SAST and SCA.

claude-mem (GitHub Repo)
Claude-Mem preserves context across sessions by capturing tool usage observations and generating semantic summaries for future use. The plugin works with Claude Code, OpenClaw, Codex, Gemini, Hermes, Copilot, and OpenCode.
RADDebugger (GitHub Repo)
The RAD Debugger is a native, user-mode, multi-process graphical debugger currently in alpha. It supports local Windows x64 debugging with PDBs and plans to add Linux support later. The project also includes the RAD Linker, which creates x64 PE/COFF binaries and offers 50% faster link times for projects with gigabytes of debug info.
