Introducing the Agent Readiness score. Is your site agent-ready? (13 minute read)
Cloudflare launched isitagentready.com and new Radar data to measure AI agent standard adoption, revealing low readiness with minimal support for emerging protocols. The tool scores sites across discoverability, content, access control, and capabilities while providing actionable fixes and agent-compatible scanning features.
Artifacts: versioned storage that speaks Git (10 minute read)
Cloudflare Artifacts, in private beta, is a distributed, versioned filesystem that functions as a Git-compatible repository system specifically designed for AI agents, with the ability to programmatically create millions of repositories through a REST API and running on Durable Objects with a custom Git server written in Zig and compiled to a ~100KB WebAssembly binary. The company is also open-sourcing ArtifactFS, a filesystem driver that can mount large Git repositories in seconds by performing blobless clones and hydrating file contents on-demand, and plans to charge $0.15 per 1,000 operations and $0.50 per GB-month of storage when it exits beta in early May.
Why MicroVMs: The Architecture Behind Docker Sandboxes (6 minute read)
Docker Sandboxes introduces a new microVM-based isolation system that gives each AI coding agent its own kernel and private Docker daemon, eliminating the security compromises of Docker-in-Docker setups. The company built a custom cross-platform virtual machine monitor from scratch that runs natively on macOS, Windows, and Linux to achieve fast cold starts without requiring developers to choose between security and performance.
The Human Infrastructure: How Netflix Built the Operations Layer Behind Live at Scale (13 minute read)
Netflix scaled its live streaming operations from a single show per month in 2023 to over 400 events in 2026, including streaming 70 live events in March alone and reaching 17.9 million concurrent viewers for a World Baseball Classic game in Japan. The company built a complete operational infrastructure from scratch, evolving from engineers monitoring laptops in conference rooms to establishing dedicated Broadcast Operations Centers and a Live Command Center that processes up to 38 million events per second, while developing specialized roles like Transmission Operations Center operators and Live Technical Launch Managers to handle multiple simultaneous streams.

Terramate: Effortless IaC for devs + agents (Sponsor)
What if infrastructure was actually easy? Use
Terramate to package best-practice IaC patterns into a reusable harness of infrastructure Bundles. Developers - and their AI agents - can self-serve compliant infrastructure at lightning speed, without reviews. Ship fast, reduce risk and toil, and get measurable ROI from existing IaC.
Start in 5 minutesEvolver (GitHub Repo)
Evolver, an open-source AI agent self-evolution engine initially released in February, is transitioning to a source-available license after another project allegedly copied its memory and skill architecture without attribution. The protocol-based tool generates evolution prompts for AI agents rather than directly patching code, and can connect to the EvoMap network for shared intelligence features while maintaining full offline functionality.
Deepgemm (GitHub Repo)
DeepGEMM, a new open-source CUDA library released under the MIT License, delivers high-performance tensor core operations for large language models, including FP8/FP4 GEMMs, fused mixture-of-experts, and attention mechanisms, all compiled at runtime without requiring CUDA installation. The lightweight library matches or exceeds the performance of expert-tuned alternatives while maintaining a simpler codebase designed for both production use and learning GPU kernel optimization techniques.
PgQue (GitHub Repo)
PgQue is a zero-bloat Postgres queue. It takes one SQL file to install, and uses pg_cron to tick.
Introducing Flagship: feature flags built for the age of AI (6 minute read)
Cloudflare Flagship is an edge-native feature flag service built on OpenFeature, enabling safe autonomous AI-driven code deployment through controlled rollouts and local evaluation. It addresses latency and scalability issues by leveraging Workers, KV, and Durable Objects for fast, distributed flag management without external dependencies.
Vercel April 2026 security incident (2 minute read)
Vercel reported a security incident involving unauthorized access to some internal systems, traced to a compromised third-party AI tool's Google Workspace OAuth app, and is actively investigating with external experts while working with affected customers. Services remain operational, but users are advised to review logs, rotate any potentially exposed secrets, secure deployments, and check for indicators of compromise.
OpAMP for OpenTelemetry: Managing Collector Fleets and Introducing the New OpAMP Gateway Extension (9 minute read)
Bindplane's OpAMP Gateway Extension enables fleet management in segmented or firewalled environments and improves scalability by consolidating agent connections. It extends OpAMP's control plane capabilities and may be contributed to the OpenTelemetry project.
