Position Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer with a focus on cybersecurity to join our accomplished technical team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining cybersecurity measures to safeguard our systems, data, and customer information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cybersecurity strategies and measures to protect our network and infrastructure.
- Develop and manage security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor network traffic and system activity for signs of unauthorized access or malicious behavior.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and address potential weaknesses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security solutions and best practices.
- Investigate security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to recommend improvements.
- Provide cybersecurity awareness training to employees and ensure security protocols are followed.
- Assist in responding to security incidents and coordinating incident response efforts.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with a focus on cybersecurity.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
- Familiarity with security frameworks, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus, SIEM, and encryption.
- Proficiency in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Solid understanding of network architecture, protocols, and infrastructure components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to respond to and mitigate security incidents.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent
