We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining social consumer applications. The ideal candidate should have a degree in computer science and be able to work on both front-end and back-end development tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the product management team to understand the app requirements and translate them into technical specifications

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and reliable features for the app, including front-end and back-end tasks

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize app performance for maximum speed and scalability

• Work with the database team to design and maintain efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms

• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers to maintain code quality standards

• Collaborate with QA team to ensure that the app meets quality standards and identify and fix bugs

• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the app's features and functionalities

• Contribute to shaping and evolving Zeal’s product development life cycle and other processes and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science

• 3 to 5 years of experience in developing social consumer applications

• Strong knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks such as React, React Native, Angular, or Vue.js

• Proficiency in at least one server-side language such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, or PHP

• Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB

• Experience working with RESTful APIs, Google Cloud Firebase and microservices architectures

• Familiarity with integration of third party messaging platforms is a plus

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
