Who We Need: 

We’re searching for an Azure Engineer to join our crew. As our ideal Azure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining our Azure infrastructure. You will work closely with our development and IT teams to ensure that our cloud-based applications are running smoothly and securely. 

 

**This is a REMOTE position, based in the U.S. Some travel will be required.**

What You’ll Do: 

  • Develop and maintain Azure Cloud Infrastructure for multiple financial products.  

  • Configure and maintain Azure services, such as Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Functions. 

  • Automate Azure infrastructure deployments with Terraform. 

  • Iterate and evolve the cloud platform and applications to manage it, ensuring our applications are reliable and resilient. 

  • Collaborate with Product Design, Product Management, and Software Engineering and Architecture to improve the design and performance of CI/CD pipelines. 

  • Monitor Azure resource usage and performance to ensure high availability and optimal performance. 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve Azure-related issues, including networking, security, and application performance issues. 

  • Implement automation and scripting to streamline Azure operations and reduce manual tasks. 

  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure that Azure resources are provisioned according to their needs. 

  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing for Azure-based applications and services. 
     

As an Azure Engineer you have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

  • 5+ years of technical experience in building and deploying, including private and public cloud, networking, connective, storage, virtualization, and access control. 

  • 5+ years experience with Azure automation and scripting tools, such as Azure PowerShell and Azure CLI. 

  • Experience with Azure security measures, including firewalls, network security groups, and virtual private networks. 

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex Azure-related issues. 

  • Demonstrable experience with a range of Azure cloud capabilities including storage, web apps, and automated deployments. 

  • Experience working with SQL databases required, other database experience is nice to have. 

  • Superior written and verbal communication with concise and persuasive presentation skills 

  • Outstanding attention to detail 

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 25%) 

  • Ability to communicate with business users, technology leaders, and end users 
     

We’ll give you extra credit for: 

  • Microsoft Azure certification 

  • FinTech or banking client experience 

  • Agency and/or startup experience
