Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Application Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining database applications that meet the needs of our business. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain database applications using .NET technologies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Develop database schemas, stored procedures, and triggers
- Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with database applications
- Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Participate in planning and executing IT projects
- Provide support and training to end-users as needed
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in database application development
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in database application development using .NET technologies
- Strong knowledge of database design and development principles
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases
- Proficiency in C# and other .NET languages
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Relevant certifications (such as MCSD: App Builder) are a plus
