What you'll do

The Director of Product is responsible for the entire lifecycle of TrackFive’s product development (no pressure). They balance user needs and business goals while questioning and validating assumptions. They are responsible for maintaining a high level of standards amongst the product team. And they most definitely display first-class communication skills by ensuring that all stakeholders are constantly informed. 

The life of a TrackFive Director of Product

• Work with CEO to build, manage, and execute TrackFive’s product roadmap in alignment with the company’s plans for growth
• Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution
• Represent TrackFive, soliciting customer feedback on products and services
• Work with client success and sales teams to gain deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps, and generate new ideas that grow market share
• Assess market competition by comparing TrackFive’s products to competitors’ products
• Write clear and concise functional and technical project specs to be used throughout the entire product lifecycle
• Create consistent, well-defined expectations and accountability for all implementation teams
• Drive product launches and go-to-market strategies including working with marketing, sales, and client success teams to ensure clarity around new products and keep everybody in the loop
• Lead the efficiency and growth of the product team by providing ongoing feedback and product training

Skills necessary

• 5+ years of experience designing and developing software products in a product management role
• Proven track record of providing new and innovative solutions to enhance product lines
• Ability to learn the business and perform competitive analysis to identify opportunities
• Proven ability of coaching and developing others, delegating, and leading through positive influence
• Exceptional written and verbal organizational, analytical, and communication skills with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to lead and influence via persuasion, patience, and energy
• Able to distill product roadmaps into digestible and relevant presentations to key customers and stakeholders
• Skilled at performing ROI analysis on new ideas and product features
• High-level understanding of technical architecture of complex and highly scalable web applications
