Tron to Create Algorithmic Stablecoin to Be More Like Terra (4 minute read)
Justin Sun has announced a stablecoin from Tron that will begin issuing on May 5. The USDD stablecoin will be backed by algorithms, similar to Terra's UST stablecoin. Tron DAO will raise $10 billion in reserves over the next 12 months to provide liquidity in case of emergencies. Tron's native token TRX went up 15% due to the announcement and now has a market cap of $7.2 billion. The network supports less than 12 applications, compared to the hundreds on Ethereum, Fantom, and Avalanche.

Frax, Terra-Backed 4pool Goes Live on Fantom Network, Attracts $31M (1 minute read)
The Curve-based 4pool is now live on the Fantom network. It will be tested on the Fantom and Arbitrum networks before being deployed on Ethereum. The 4pool locked up $31 million in value hours after launch and it is currently paying out daily yields of nearly 0.5%.
